What's New For the 2021 Nissan Rogue?

Nissan introduces the latest Rogue as part of the third generation Rogue for 2021. This year, Nissan redesigns the Rogue to encapture its capabilities for efficiency, comfort and adventurous spirit. New to the Nissan Rogue are its updated tech features, safety features and increase in performance. While previous models offered three trims, the latest Rogue will provide four with the addition of the top-level Platinum trim.

2021 Rogue Trims & Features

The 2021 Nissan Rogue has four trim levels, each featuring a few distinct features from the rest. These trims include the S, SL, SV and Platinum.

Nissan's "family hub" stands prevalent in the 2021 Rogue trim levels, designed to create comfortable seating for all passengers. All trims feature premium and refined interiors. The SL and Platinum come with genuine leather seats while the other models receive faux-leather. As a two-row crossover SUV, the Nissan Rogue is abundant with its redesigned Divide-n-Hide® system providing hidden and secure storage. Drivers of the 2021 Nissan Rogue can also enjoy the available 10.8-inch head-up screen and a 7-inch metric data display.

Nissan Rogue Horsepower

The 2021 Rogue proudly boasts a powerful four-cylinder, 181 horsepower engine with a 2.5L capacity. The engine's 181 lb-ft of torque delivery is an improvement from its predecessor's 175 lb-ft torque. Across all Rogue trim is an Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission. Nissan has also developed new cutting edge technology in its Vehicle Motion Control system. This new technology is designed to act on behalf of the driver, learning anticipated moves such as steering, braking, and accelerating. The system will automatically respond to deliver a new driving experience.

2021 Nissan Rogue Safety

Nissan's own-developed features are set to provide safety to all drivers. The Nissan Safety Shield® 360 suite is offered to help prevent forward collisions, activate quick and automated emergency brakes, and to detect and avoid pedestrians. This safety system also includes lane departure alerts.

Another feature is the ProPilot Assist system, specifically designed as an autonomous driving tool. Its purpose is useful for traffic jam assistance and adaptive cruising for detected curves. All models have the ProPilot except the Nissan Rogue S.
