When Nissan recalls a model, it recognizes that some of those vehicles in the affected year or years have a defect. What Should I do If There is a Recall for My Vehicle?

The best thing to do if your vehicle is part of an active recall is to bring it into our service department as soon as possible. Most of the time, you won't be in any immediate danger. If you are concerned about your safety, contact one of our technicians who will be happy to explain the recall procedure to you and schedule you for an appointment as soon as possible. If you have your vehicle regularly serviced by our staff, we are sometimes able to tell you about a recall before it's even made public. Bringing your car, SUV or truck into our service facilities ensures that the work will be done properly by trained technicians. You will always get a safe and accurate recall repair.

Do I Have to Pay for Recall Repairs?

Most of the time, the repairs made due to the recall will be free. Nissan recognizes that these defects are not your fault and reimburses our dealership for the time spent on the work as well as the part. If the defective part, however, has caused further damage to your vehicle, you may be responsible for additional repairs. Remember, that our first concern is for your safety. The staff at Pinnacle Nissan will always be available and more than happy to rectify this situation and make your vehicle safe once again.
