Which Features Are Available for 2021?
The 2021 Nissan Leaf is made in three trims. All trims are available in either the regular Nissan Leaf or the Nissan Leaf Plus. Starting off for both versions is the S trim. It comes with cloth seats, a synchronous electric motor, and e-Pedal technology. There are several key advanced safety aids on the base trim. It also has an infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Next is the SV. More amenities are added to this trim, including 17-inch alloy wheels and fog lights. The interior adds Nissan's navigation system with door-to-door directions. You will also get Nissan's ConnectEV services with a connection to SiriusXM satellite radio. A leather steering wheel also gives the second trim an upscale touch. The SL tops the line with a Bose sound system and seven speakers. Leather seats are added to the SL, along with a panoramic monitor and more safety tools.
Featuring Great Performance
The regular Leaf gets an AC electric motor that produces 147 HP and 236 LB-FT of torque. The second motor, which is standard on the Leaf Plus and available for the Leaf, produces 214 HP. Its peak torque is 250 LB-FT. The top trims get a 100 kW Quick Charge Port, and you can get a 50 kW Quick Charge Port for the S.
Nissan Leaf Safety at the Forefront
A series of safety aids are standard for the Nissan Leaf in 2021. Cruise control is included on the base trim, while the top trims get Intelligent Cruise Control. ProPilot Assist is added to the top trim. Forward-collision mitigation, automatic emergency braking, and intelligent lane intervention are standard.
