The Nissan Frontier comes into the 2021 model year with no significant changes. This mid-size pickup truck is still in style these days, thanks to its fantastic performance and crisp style. This is a truck that proves the little guy sometimes outperforms them all.
Which Features Are Available for 2021?
The Frontier comes in S, SV, and PRO-4X trims. You have a choice of two can configurations: the standard King Cab and four-door Crew Cab. The S trim includes a 7-inch touchscreen display, a USB port, remote keyless entry, and push-button ignition.
The SV trim gets a sliding rear window, power-adjustable mirrors, and premium cloth upholstery. The extended bed is available on the Crew Cab variant of this trim. Additional options packages are available with this trim, such as the Value Truck (includes heated front seats, foglights, rear parking sensors), Special Edition (includes 18-inch alloy wheels, a trip computer, and unique exterior treatments), and Midnight Edition (includes black-painted exterior trim and 18-inch black-painted wheels).
The top-line PRO-4X includes underbody skid plates, an electronic locking rear differential, Bilstein shock absorbers, and all-terrain tires. Other features included on this off-road-focused model includes a 10-speaker Rockford Fosgate audio system, a sunroof, leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated mirrors.
Featuring Great Performance
The powertrain for all Frontier models is a 3.8L V6 engine that boasts 310 horsepower and 280 lb-foot of torque mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Nissan Frontier Safety Features
The Nissan Frontier has rollover sensors as a standard safety tool. Some trims get extra safety features, including front and rear parking sensors on the PRO-4X. The NissanConnect Audio Interface is available, including emergency tracking and notifications such as stolen vehicle locator, remote alarm notification, and automatic collision notification.
