What's New For the 2020 Nissan Frontier?
Drivers in the market for a new pickup truck will want to take a good luck at the Nissan Frontier. The most exciting change for the new Frontier resides underneath the hood. All models now get a V6 engine that makes the truck even more thrilling to drive. To help make it easier to find the perfect Frontier for you, Nissan has simplified the lineup down to just three trims. They are known as the S, SV, and Pro-4X.
Which Features Are Available for 2020?
The entry-level S trim is very well-equipped and ready to help you get the job done. It comes standard with Bluetooth, a 7-inch touchscreen, and air conditioning. Siri Eyes Free is also a staple on all trim levels, helping you keep your hands on the wheel and your focus on the road. Your second option, called the SV, adds even more to love. Standard here are useful features like alloy wheels and tinted windows. Opting to go with the Pro-4X trim will give your Frontier luxury touches such as a moonroof, heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a navigation system. Heated front seats are an option on the SV.
Featuring Great Performance
The 3.8L V6 engine now standard for the Nissan Frontier produces 310-horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. The manual transmission is no longer available. All models pair their engine with a nine-speed automatic transmission that is both responsive and smooth. Rear-wheel-drive is standard, but a part-time four-wheel-drive system is an option, too. Properly equipped models can tow right around 6,700 pounds.
2020 Nissan Frontier Safety Features
Your Nissan Frontier will come standard with a rearview camera. Rear parking sensors are available as well. Six strategically placed airbags help make the Frontier a safe choice. Zone body construction with front and rear crumple zones help further to ensure safety in the event of a collision. Nissan has also given the Frontier hood buckling creases as well as an energy-absorbing steering column to help protect the driver and passengers. A handy tire pressure monitoring system is standard across the board. Other advanced safety systems, such as Vehicle Dynamic Control, Traction Control, and Active Brake Limited Slip, are found on all models as well.
