What's New for the 2019 Nissan Pathfinder?

The 2019 Nissan Pathfinder is celebrating its seventh year since going through a major redesign. Though the core of the Pathfinder has remained the same, there are a few changes that have been made. There have been some significant upgrades to the safety tech. In 2018, the Pathfinder added a great deal of advanced safety technology, including auto-braking and forward-collision warning on all models. For 2019, a Rear Sonar system has become standardized across all the trims. This is a system most helpful with backing up and parking. If the vehicle is too close to a rear object, the system will sound an alert.

There are additional safety features for the Pathfinder SV and upper trims. They'll all come equipped with adaptive cruise control, rear traffic alerts, and blind spot warnings.

As for the exterior of the vehicle, there haven't been many changes. One color has been added to the list of options, Mocha Almond Pearl. The other difference is that the SL and Platinum trims have standardized LED headlights.

There are four main trims: the S, SV, SL, and Platinum editions.

The SL includes everything with the SV. It also has LED low-beam headlights and an intelligent surrounding view of the vehicle. There are heated, leather-appointed seats in the front.

The Platinum trim includes all the SL features. It also has 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels and climate controlled front seats. The vehicle comes with a 13-speaker premium audio system already installed. The dual panel panoramic moonroof lets you see the stars. You also get a tow hitch with a 7-pin harness for wiring.
