The Nissan Altima comes in five trim levels: the S, SR, SV, SL, and Platinum. All Altima models are available with all-wheel drive. Two trims, the front-wheel-drive Platinum, and SR, are available with a variable compression turbo engine. The new engine presents a significant change from previous models.

The Altima appearance has been revamped with a taller grille and rectangular headlights. The car has character lines along the sides and in the license plate area for an exciting new look. Nissan completely redesigned the bumper area, adding taillights that are more streamlined.

The cars' interior palette has shifted from beige tones to light gray and black. This gives all models a more updated appearance. Shiny chrome interior trim has been replaced with matte chrome. All models boast Nissan's special Zero Gravity seats for a comfortable drive.

The Altima SR has available 19" wheels for a sporty appearance. The interior boasts Rakuda Tan stitching for a sophisticated look. The SR has paddle shifters standard to give drivers tighter control. A superior quality leather interior is available for both models. In the Edition One, the Platinum trim level is standard.
