What's New for the 2018 Nissan Rogue?

To stay ahead of the ever-changing tastes of the public, the already popular 2018 Nissan Rogue add several updates for the current model year. First are the new exterior colors: Scarlet Amber and Midnight Pine. They join the Midnight Edition package created for the SV trim that color several accents in the black. Also standard for this trim is a new motion-activated power liftgate that opens or closes when you kick just under the back bumper. Standard on all models is a 7-inch infotainment screen that can integrate compatible smartphones through the use of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SL gets Lane Departure Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control, which upgrades with ProPilot Assist in the SL Platinum Package to Lane keep Assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go.

The S trim makes starting on a slope safer with Hill Start Assist, which holds the brakes for a few seconds to give you time to move your foot from brake pedal to accelerator without the vehicle rolling down the incline. The SV trim includes many new features like the Nissan Safety Key, which allows you to push buttons on the key fob to lock and unlock the doors, open the trunk, or start the crossover by pressing the Push Start button. Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control allows for separate comfort definitions for you and your front passenger. The Midnight Edition™ trim presents styling updates that are announced by Black Midnight Edition badging, including unique 17-inch Midnight Edition wheels, black exterior accents, and black exterior mirror caps with turn signal indicators. Maximizing the luxury of the SL trim level are leather upholstery and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. At night, High Beam Assist headlights automatically switches on your high beams when needed but turns them to low beams when they detect the approach of oncoming traffic.
