From now until Sept. 5, you can seize the opportunity to explore the Desert Botanical Garden at night as a part of their exclusive Flashlight Tours! Running every Thursday and Saturday evening, these unique tours deliver a sensory experience, allowing guests to see and hear the beauty of the Botanical Garden at night. Attendees can check out different discovery stations along the way, where they can view different plants and species. All you need is your flashlight in hand to enjoy the wonders of the Garden and get in touch with everything it has to offer.
Flashlight Tours are a fun way to travel around the Garden at night. Free with Garden admission, the excursions make for perfect family outings. All you have to do is bring your flashlight with you (or purchase one at the gift shop) and take a stroll along the Garden's trails. As you make your way through the grounds, you'll come upon a variety of discovery stations that you can take a moment to explore. On select nights, you can check out the Agave, Saguaro, Mesquite, Insect, Tarantula, Frog/Toad, Gecko/Lizard, Desert Tortoise or Naked Eye Sky Discovery Station during the tour, which runs from 7-9 p.m. Additional discovery stations will also be open to the public throughout this year's Flashlight Tours run.
