The winter season has been a difficult one for many across the U.S., with numerous states (outside of our own) getting hit by several blizzards that have left their cities buried in snow. As the cold months pass by, these storms continue to drop record amounts of snow in North America, and outside the U.S., things aren't much better. Lapland, Finland has seen its fair share of below zero, snowy days - a fact that recently led Nissan to test out its new modified Juke Nismo RS on Lapland's frozen Uddjaur Lake. Specially altered for the winter weather, the crossover was challenged and pushed to its absolute limits.

Nissan's Juke Nismo RS crossover is known for its heavy duty capabilities, which is why it was the perfect vehicle for Nissan to modify and test out in Finland's cold climates. To make it fit for the environment, Nissan equipped the crossover with all-wheel drive, made changes to its front and rear fascias, and outfitted it with high-end snow tracks. The car was then tested on Uddjaur Lake, which was covered by 20 inches of snow. It performed extremely well, reaching speeds of 50 mph in weather that hit a low of -31 degree F.
