When Nissan Brazil's workers brought their kids to work for Children's Day, the company decided to give the kids a taste of what it's like to work in an automotive design studio, providing them with a unique creative opportunity. The workers' children were asked to draw up their visions of an "Automobile of the Future" and then the facility's design team chose four winning pieces to turn into professional design studio sketches.

The creativity exhibited by the children is amazing - just check out the rest of the images below. Their out-of-the-box drawings express limitless imagination and an ability to create without restrictions. The children's inspiring designs included cars with six wheels, hovercraft concepts, unique minicars, vehicles focused on sustainable mobility and more.

Employees of Nissan Design America Rio (NDA-R) judged the group of drawings and selected their top picks. Winners included five-year-old Karine (work pictured above), 10-year-old Sophya and nine-year-old Gabriela, along with 10-year-old Nathalia who was selected as an honorable mention. After handpicking the four drawings, judges interpreted each concept into a real automotive sketch.

"In all the drawings recreated in our studio, we noticed a concern with people, the environment and its preservation. It was wonderful to share our studio with them because they are our future, and they create worlds adults could never imagine," said Robert Bauer, designer-in-chief of NDA-R.
