What's New For The 2019 Nissan NV?

The 2019 Nissan NV comes in both a cargo van and a passenger van style, and there are a few changes to both. The 2019 passenger van gets some improvements in the areas of technology, safety, and comfort. There are more safety features available for the 2019 cargo van too, and for the first time it is offered with a V8 engine. The cargo van rides on 17-inch wheels now, and it is available in your choice of a standard roof or a tall roof. A larger infotainment display screen is standard on the 2019 Nissan NV, and it also gets more seating configurations than in the past. Riding the wave of current technology, the Nissan NV comes with Bluetooth, iPod compatibility, and USB charging ports. A sturdier platform makes the Nissan NV safer to drive and improves its handling. The NV is available this year with a larger 22-gallon fuel tank to facilitate long hauls. The addition of an eight-cylinder engine provides more power and performance potential, and it also makes the NV better equipped to haul cargo and passengers. 2019 Nissan NV Interior

2019 Nissan NV Has Abundant Features

There are five trim levels in the 2019 Nissan NV, which includes three trim levels of the passenger van and two trim levels of the cargo van. The base model of the passenger van has power-operated windows and doors, 17-inch wheels, and a cargo door that slides open. Cruise control is standard for highway driving, and the NV has roof rack mounts in case you want to attach a roof-mounted cargo carrier. The technology in the base trim includes a standard seven-inch infotainment screen with Bluetooth, audio connectivity, and dual speakers. USB ports and a backup camera are also standard.

The second trim level, called the SV, gets two more speakers and a larger center console with storage. Heated side mirrors and an extra cargo carrying space on the roof are other amenities on the high-roof version of this trim. The top trim level is the SL. This trim adds a chrome grille and bumpers. A leather-wrapped wheel and an eight-way adjustable driver's seat are other features of this trim. In all trims, the seats have a split-folding design to maximize space for occupants or cargo. There are four rows of seats and a total of 12 seats. Fog lights and heated front seats are also standard on the higher trim level of the passenger van.

The cargo van comes in two trim levels. The base trim has the same interior amenities as the base trim of the passenger van. However, it weighs a bit more and has more cargo space. The second-level trim has a four-speaker audio system, steering wheel-mounted controls, and charging outlets.

NV Performance

2019 Nissan NV Exterior FrontThe Nissan NV is powered by two engines in 2019. The base engine is a 4.0L, six-cylinder engine. Its maximum power output of 261 HP and 281 LB-FT of torque provides sufficient power for your basic work needs. If you want more power, however, consider the V8 engine, which is available on the higher trim levels. This 5.6L engine creates more horsepower (375) and more torque (387 LB-FT). Both engines are paired with an automatic transmission.

Safety Features in the Forefront for 2019

2019 Nissan NV Exterior RearBoth the cargo van and passenger van versions of the NV have number of basic safety amenities. This includes front, side, and roof-mounted airbags for all occupants.
