The Nissan Versa is a four-door sedan that has the advantage of being less expensive than other cars currently on the market. For this model year, the Versa SL has been discontinued along with the option of a four-speed automatic transmission. What Are The Different Trim Levels For The 2018 Nissan Versa

The 2018 Versa is readily equipped with tons of special features and amenities along with its selection of different trim levels. The Nissan Versa has three trim levels this year: the S, S Plus and SV trim levels, with a Versa Note hatchback. The S trim level is the standard model for the vehicle and comes with basic features such as 15-inch steel wheels, power mirrors, a four speaker sound system and Bluetooth phone connection access. The S Plus is more or less the same but now has automatic transmission, a cruise control and a rear spoiler added to it. The SV trim is the most advanced level of the Versa, and contains more features like cloth upholstery on the interior, a new height adjustable driver's seat, keyless entry and a special media player interface. There is a special edition for the SV trim which adds a new rearview camera, Bluetooth audio streaming and access to satellite radio.

The engine of the Nissan Versa is rather modest in its settings, being able to generate only a mere 109 horsepower rating and running up to 6,000 wheel revolutions per minute. It can also create 107 feet by pounds of total torque on the engine. The fuel economy has been improved, being able to maintain a good 34 combined miles per gallon, running 31 MPGs when riding through the city and 39 MPGs when on the highway. It runs on regular unleaded fuel and generally has a transmission that varies according to the driving time.

Car safety is never something to be taken lightly, and the new Versa comes prepared for anything, starting with the inclusion of rear door safety locks and seating anchors for smaller, younger passengers. There is also some much improved stability and traction control from the previous year, complimented with a 4-wheel ABS system in place. An emergency braking assist feature is installed in the event of a brake failure. Head airbags are located on the front side and rear parts of the vehicle, with passenger airbags having a special deactivation sensing setting in the event that an accident has taken place and the main danger has passed.
