Nissan has been listening to customers' opinions on the use of CVT transmissions in their models, and to better accommodate their needs, the automaker has decided to alter some of their CVTs to operate much like a traditional automatic, eliminating the rubber band feel disliked by certain drivers. The 2015 Sentra, Pathfinder, Quest, Versa, Versa Note and V-6 powered Nissan Altima in Scottsdale will all receive the new modifications.

With the power to repel a variety of elements such as mud and dirt, the paint technology could mean the end of traditional car wash services and become a hot commodity in the automotive world.
