2017 Nissan NV Review

The Nissan NV has solidified itself as a prime choice among its peers, earning honors like the VinCentric "Best Fleet Value in America" award for two of its 2016 models. Additionally, NV is the only full-size van to have an available high roof, and it continues to offer America's Best Commercial Van Warranty. This year, shoppers looking for a 2017 Nissan NV in the Phoenix area will also have a new engine option that provides best-in-class power and torque. Learn more below!

Models, Features & Key Highlights

The Nissan NV comes in three primary models: Passenger, Cargo and the compact NV200. For hauling, the Cargo provides a 70.2 x 120-inch floor and cargo area height of 55.8 inches, which 2017 Nissan NV reviews say is among the tallest compared to competitors. A high roof option (76.9-inch height) provides enough room for most people to stand. If you'll be hauling people, the NV Passenger provides seating for up to 12, as well as 324 possible seating configurations.

Available features like Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone, a Rearview Monitor, and NissanConnect with Navigation and Mobile Apps offer optimal convenience and connectivity. The NV200 gains a new Rear Sonar and Sliding Door Glass Package this year as well.

Nissan NV Horsepower & Torque

Two engines are available on the 2017 Nissan NV in Scottsdale, beginning with a 4.0-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 that makes 261 horsepower and 281 pound-feet of torque. Joining the six-cylinder, a new Endurance V8 engine debuts this year offering best-in-class 375 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is paired with a five-speed automatic, while the V8 comes attached to a new seven-speed automatic.

Compact van shoppers in the Phoenix area can also select the NV200, which is equipped with a 2.0-liter 16-valve four-cylinder that creates 131 horsepower. The van achieves an impressive EPA-estimated 24 city/26 highway mpg with an Xtronic transmission and front-wheel drive.

NV Safety Features

The NV Passenger offers standard safety features like built-in seatbelts for all rear seating positions and curtain side-impact supplemental airbags with rollover sensors for all rows of seating. The NV Cargo is appointed with several airbags as well, including roof-mounted curtain side-impact airbags with rollover sensors and supplemental front seat-mounted side-impact airbags. Tire Pressure Monitoring and Vehicle Dynamic Control are also standard, and a Rearview Monitor is optional. See the rest of Pinnacle's 2017 Nissan NV review below to learn more.
