Nissan Xmotion Concept Revealed

Nissan Xmotion Concept

Nissan recently released the Xmotion Concept car to the public and showed off it's modern, and edgy structure that is robust. The concept car was unveiled at the 2018 North American International Auto Show and accompanied by techno music and dancers on the stage. The car is named "Crossmotion" and offers a unique look into the future for Nissan.

The Japanese vehicle has a minimal design that allows it to look sleek despite its massive structure. It combines both an American and European design to the exterior while creating a dramatic interior that stays true to the Japanese roots of the Nissan brand. Its oversized wheels make it look similar to a tank that is ideal for different types of terrain.

The interior of the cabin is sharp and edgy with six individual seats. A large panel of light wood is installed in the middle, separating passengers with an armrest. The wood paneling added underneath the dashboard for the style. The interior setting is primarily red and black with stainless steel elements add plenty of contrast. The doors also open opposite from one another, making it easy to load up the vehicle quickly. The compact SUV is designed to comfortably seat a family or young adults who want to take a drive with friends.

The multiple screens used throughout the cabin make it easy to control settings with eye movements or subtle hand gestures. A voice command system is incorporated into the car and allows drivers to remain safe while behind the wheel.

"The exterior combination of western and eastern concepts continues inside the Xmotion, where advanced connectivity and autonomous technologies mix with modern Japanese digital art and cultural craftsmanship. At a glance, Xmotion may appear to have a minimal design language, but a closer look reveals layers of detail that make this concept exceptional," said Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president of global design at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.

The headlights and taillights are the most striking feature and work as the focal point of the concept car. The u-shaped headlights resemble fierce eyes on the hood, and the taillights feature blocks of color that contribute to the design of the vehicle. The Xmotion incorporates specific features that make it look unique and high-end.

Concept cars are often dramatic with the regal appearance of the vehicles, which are meant to offer a look at the future designs and features of car models. The cars usually include a working engine and are capable of being driven but are not manufactured or sold to the public. The vehicles are commonly revealed at special events or auto shows and meant to determine what the public finds appealing, which influences the creation of future vehicles.
