Nissan added some heat to the Miami International Auto Show last month, debuting the all-new 2017 Nissan Sentra SR Turbo.
This new high-powered version of the sport sedan has already made waves with fans and critics since its debut, with many calling out its new 188-hp, direction injection turbocharged engine, enhanced body structure, new transmission options and improved suspension tuning.
"The Sentra SR Turbo is designed for buyers who want all the attributes of traditional compact sedans but also desire some serious turbo performance," said Michael Bunce, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. "The SR Turbo builds upon the redesigned Sentra and adds 50 percent more horsepower and more than 40 percent more torque, as well as the upgrades where drivers will feel them. It's truly the complete package for compact car buyers and enthusiasts alike."
Standard features on the SR Turbo include SR Turbo-specific badging and a power sliding glass moonroof. Drivers will also be able to add a SR Turbo Premium package to the sedan, which comes with more advanced safety equipment, a Bose Premium sound system and leather-appointed seats.
