The 52nd annual Arizona Scottish Gathering & Highland Games is coming back to the Valley this March. One of the most popular local events in Phoenix, the Arizona Scottish Gathering is your chance to bring a little Celtic history into your life.

Put on every year by the Caledonian Society of Arizona, the Scottish Gathering features everything rom Scottish and Celtic history, a Genealogy tent, traditional Scottish music, and of course, Highland games!

The fun competitions include highland dancing, heavy athletics (you’ll get to see someone throw a literal tree) and pipe bands. There will even be historical reenactments and a vintage British car show, and a “wee lads & lassies area” for the younger members of your family.

Dogs are welcome to hunt for their own Scottish heritage at this month’s festival as well, which means the entire family came come out to Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix and enjoy this fun cultural event. Visit their website to learn more!
