Flashlight Tours at the Desert Botanical Garden is back for another summer of fun. This annual event at DBG is a great way to introduce your family to the wonders of nature, while also giving your little ones something to do that is both fun and educational.

Your family can bring their favorite flashlights to the Garden until September 3, 2016, and take part in several tours that will give you and your family the opportunity to “see, hear and feel the desert night.” This will include a variety of “discovery stations” such as:

  • Arachnid Encounters: Tarantulas and Scorpions Discovery Station
  • Friendly Flyers: Bat Discovery Station
  • Hear a Hoot: Owl Discovery Station
  • Sleep and Scute: Desert Tortoise Discovery Station
  • Slither and Slide: Snake Discovery Station
  • Sonoran Skies: Night Sky Discovery Station

There will also be “activity stations” that offer everything from making bat finger puppets to constellation cups. For more information about the Flashlight Tours at the Desert Botanical Garden, visit their website or call 480.941.1225.

We hope you’ll come out to this fantastic local Phoenix event this June!
