In celebration of the Juke's fifth birthday, Nissan created a life-size origami replica of the compact crossover. The Origami Juke – as Nissan likes to call it – was hand-built by British artist Owen Gildersleeve and features every piece of styling found on the real-life Juke, along with the current model's exact dimensions.

Using over 2,000 pieces of paper and putting in more than 200 man hours, Owen was able to successfully replicate the Nissan Juke. From the grille and lights to its wheel fenders, every single noticeable component on the Origami Juke looks almost exactly like it does on the actual Juke model, which is known for its eccentric design and bold characteristics.

"As a celebration piece, it draws on so many influences, such as the origami focus inspired by Nissan's Japanese roots," said artist Owen Gildersleeve about the Origami Juke. "Using so many individual pieces of paper to create the overall structure also represents the thousands of people who helped bring the Nissan JUKE into reality in 2011."

Since its debut on the market five years ago, the Nissan Juke continues to stand out from other models in its class when it comes to uniqueness in design. Nissan enthusiasts love its striking features, which you can see being applied to the Origami Juke model in the video below.
