The first model revealed in the all-new, completely revamped Nissan Titan lineup, the Titan XD, wowed crowds when debuted at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan. From its seriously bold new look to its new turbo-diesel V-8 engine, the new 2016 Titan XD is an astounding new entry in the full-size pickup category and its massive capability will change your perception of “light-duty” trucks.

The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD is scheduled to launch late this year!

310 HP With All-New Cummins V-8 Turbo Diesel
The Titan XD’s all-new turbo-diesel V-8 engine is not only incredibly powerful, but also majorly fuel-efficient compared to its gas rivals. All that extra power results in increased tow and haul ratings, too. The new engine is matched with an all-new six-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

Tougher All-New Frame & Chassis
Built specifically for the beefy new XD, a new fully boxed ladder frame composed of high-strength steel offers rock-solid stiffness and torsional rigidity, while a new heavily reinforced chassis was developed to handle the Titan XD’s more pronounced towing and hauling capabilities.

Beefed Up Suspension & Greater Stopping Power
A new suspension is employed with XD, one that provides smoother ride quality and enhanced handling. In front, Titan’s double wishbone suspension has been retuned and reinforced, while revised leaf bushings and springs provide more rigidity in back. Larger brakes are also thrown in the pot, providing excellent stopping power.

Dramatic New Look Based Around New Engine Bay Size
Titan XD’s design is a true manifestation of its turbocharged power, as its sheet metal was actually designed to account for the size of the engine bay! The outcome of this is seen in the truck’s rugged body styling, which features large fenders, a prominent front bumper and grille, a muscular looking hood and other hearty elements.

Enhanced Cargo Management Flexibility With New Box Design
Everything about Titan has been rethought with the 2016 Nissan Titan XD, including its bed layout and cargo management features. When designing the bed, engineers listened to truck buyers, and the end result is a new pickup with improved flexibility when it comes to hauling and organizing cargo. Features like lockable in-bed storage and a Utili-track cargo management system with aluminum alloy cleats will come in handy for a variety of jobs.
