In an effort to honor the fifth anniversary of the LEAF, Nissan has released a crowd-sourced music playlist on Spotify for all users of the program to listen to. The automaker felt the creation of a playlist was the perfect way to recognize the birthday of the first-ever all-electric vehicle and get fans involved in the celebration.

To create the crowd-sourced playlist, Nissan asked fans of the car on Twitter and Facebook what songs they would choose to honor the LEAF's five-year anniversary. According to the brand, this question was met with a number of suggestions ranging from "No. 1 hits to obscure B-side tracks." It took some time for Nissan to narrow down the selections, but in the end, they picked 10 different songs out of the many recommended. The playlist is now available on Spotify, which can be downloaded online here, and can be found by simply searching "100% Nissan LEAF 5th Birthday."

One of the bestselling models in its class, the Nissan LEAF is a top choice for car buyers looking for an eco-friendly gas alternative vehicle. By January, Nissan is expected to sell their 200,000th LEAF, which will cement the car as the most successful electric vehicle in the world.
