Nissan's lineup of commercial vans, including the NV Cargo Van, NV200 Compact Cargo and NV Passenger Van, are officially receiving a brand-new warranty, which will extend their coverage dramatically and peg Nissan as the brand with the best commercial van warranty in America. The new coverage will specifically apply to all of the automaker's 2014 model year commercial vans, and companies across the country will highly benefit from the changes in the long run.
Under Nissan's new warranty, coverage will be increased from 3 years/36,000 miles to 5 years/100,000 miles and the powertrain limited warranty will extend from 5 years/60,000 miles to 5 years/100,000 miles. A generous improvement compared to the previous warranty, Nissan said they are not worried about the extension becoming a problem, because they believe in the quality of their vans and revealed that some of their NV models have already surpassed 550,000 miles with no problems. Although the company is new to the commercial vehicle market, considering they've only been selling vans since 2011, they are still confident in their warranty and believe they will continue to be successful as the years pass.
